Welcome! On this page you will find support tools for solving Analytic Geometry exercises.

This space is intended for students from high school level, to students until later levels required to use these tools in more advanced studies. But anyone who is interested is welcome to use it.

In the first five sections you can construct geometrical objects (straight line, parabola, hyperbola and ellipse), ie, its equations and their graphs from certain data.
  • In the case of the straight line:
    • Two different points in the line.
    • A point in the line and a direction vector.
    • A point in the line and the slope.
  • In the case of the circle:
    • Center coordinates and radius length.
    • The coordinates of the center and a point on the circle.
    • The coordinates of a diameter bounds.
    • The coordinates of three points on the circle.
  • In the case of the parabola:
    • Directrix equation and focus.
    • Directrix equation and the vertex.
    • The vertex and focus.
    • Symmerty axis equation, the vertex and a point on the parabola.
  • In the case of an ellipse and the hyperbola:
    • A focus, the center of symmetry and a vertex.
    • Both focus and distance from the center of symmetry to the vertices.
    • Both focus and a point on the parabola.
Finally in section Equation, you can recover the graph of the curve from its equation.

Hopefully, these tools will be useful for you. Any questions and comments are welcome to contact@mygeometryteacher.com

Thank you!
